Beatty 1 September 1948 – R Marjory, K Brooks, Eric Jordon, R Elliot (who before he joined up played football for England Schoolboys) John Collins, C Bond G Martindale, J Booth, M Kelsall, Ian Davenport (next bed to me and a good cricketer) Fred Morton who CTB recently, J Furber, John Green, J Powell, Colin Quick, J Edwards, Tony Adkins, A Harrington, A Altree and finally the late Tony Dixon - quite a few of us finished up as classmates in 261/2 classes 41 Mess Collingwood – many of these coming from the Birmingham and Midlands area.
