Novel, Movie and Music Theme

A romantic film of 1959 starring Troy Donahue, Sandra Dee, Dorothy McGuire, Richard Egan, Arthur Kennedy and Constance Ford based on the 1958 novel by Sloan Wilson.

The films instrumental theme composed by Max Steiner spent nine weeks at #1 on the singles chart in 1960.

A beautiful composition the rock formation is unique and those pine tree really dress up the background nicely.
In conclusion the water color lovely and the image is great in resolution .

I have to admit to remembering that movie. I was JUST a teenager and it was so ...ooo romantic! Thanks for the memories of those actors. Older than me now. Lovely scene Laine. V

I don't know the film but am aware of Percy Faith's 'Theme from a Summer Place' . It is played on the radio even now.
