Mackinders Eagle Owl. A subspecies of the Cape Eagle-Owl is threatened in Kenya. In the Aberdares a local naturalist who monitors the species in the area, showed us where it was. Through bush and barbwire. Goodbye t-shirt. A great experience to see this impressive owl.
