With all the bad things going on in the world, and climate change a constant reminder of what we are doing to our home (planet earth), it is reassuring to see birds like this hermit thrush, arriving back more or less on schedule, to once again nest in the forests here, before returning south in autumn. The world is a lovely place, the natural world is full of beauty. I hope it is always so.
