A painting of Joan of Arc is on the exterior wall of Historial Jeanne d’Arc,
the museum in Rouen, France, that honors Joan of Arc. The museum is in
the former Archepiscopal Palace where a posthumous retrial
reestablished Joan of Arc’s innocence in 1456. Joan of Arc had been tried,
convicted and executed in Rouen in 1431.
