Metal NSW

Tin sheds are a common sight on farms and large stations. Hay is stacked in this one to feed the stock with during the dry. This year has been one of the hardest after 6 yrs of drought in places. Farmers in Western Australia have sent convoys of feed by road to help those over here in the Eastern states....one day no doubt the favours will be returned because that's what we do here, we look after each other....

This photo is from my archives. We were travelling and as usual I sat as a passenger with my camera ready...I will always have a blurred foreground since there are a couple of thousand kilometres between home and our destination and we would never reach it if we stopped for every shot :)

This is an iconic image Laine. Well done as I also know one wants to capture the passing scenes! Your comments about the drought are so true and typify our harsh but so loved land.V

Hmmm, maybe I should get a chauffeur- I always have to stop, which everything that entails... ~V~
