Processing Differences #1

Bisti Wilderness Area, NM

I posted this and the next image: https://pbase.com/dlgphoto/image/169020805 at the same time to show how much difference processing can make. Both images started from the exact same image. This one used a red filter to start with less contrast overall. The color version can be seen at: https://pbase.com/dlgphoto/image/168992483

Great shot in an altogether very impressive gallery. It's also interesting to see how processing can enhance an image. I like this version.

The light you captured here and your angle made it beautifully dramatic ! V.

There will be fans of the mono’s and they fit in if you going with a theme but there is a lot to be said for the color version! You guys hit it on a fairly good day!

It is amazing to see the differences among the three images. I rather like the one with the heavy contrast, and yet I find this lighter one very appealing. VV

Amazing Dan. As I said previously I'd rather use blue fliter but result is also stunning here. The photographer makes the difference. Congrats.
