Since the resort presumably does one of these every once in a while, I was a bit surprise to see the crude tools they used.
I didn't expect stainless-steel, of course, but the aged, crooked wooden spit and the way the piglet's jaw is held up seemed quite primitive.
So too were the swivels holding up the spit, shown here.
