Rifugio Rosetta

Another from the Dolomite negative collection from 1937.
This one shows the Rifugio Rosetta, originally built in 1889 as a refuge for hikers and climbers, damaged by fire it was rebuilt and expanded in 1931 to what is shown in the picture.
It was burned down by the Germans during WW2 and again rebuilt and expanded, it is still operating today as a hotel and restaurant.
