This is a three year old female grizzly who was nicknamed Snow.
Her mother is a darker bear called Raspberry.
The rangers told us that Snow had stayed with her mother a year longer than usual and her mother at this point was being courted by a very large boar in the area.
Snow had a few incidences of getting too close to people and cars and they were doing things to try to scare her away.
If she continued the behavior there was a chance that they would have to euthanize her to prevent injuries to humans.
She apparently survived the season so we hope she will keep her distance.
