Five male Northern Cardinals ... a new yard record ... and they were relatively civil with each other
and the four females I saw this afternoon. They must have all put their differences aside so they could
fuel up before the heavy snow and record cold tonight through Friday.

They are such colourful birds and this is a great capture. It must be so tough being a bird this time of year but at least they have your garden to visit.
