Rain in the desert

It was amazing to experience torrential rainfall in the desert. For one, a deluge is not what you instinctively expect in a desert.
Secondly, it added amazing clarity to the air, vivid colours to the landscape... and excitement to the local Bedouins :) Wadi Rum at its best...
