Ox carts are supposedly still in use in many places in Costa Rica, though I only saw them once outside of our tour bus. This place manufactures them just like the good old days. This picture shows a display of wheels ranging from really old cut out of big trees on the lower right, then more modern on the top through current ones on the cart itself and on the lower left.
