Near Jane, Missouri and near the MO/AR border
A few things went wrong with this shoot. I autofocused on the Moon, then shut off the autofocus so the 600mm would remain focused throughout, but the focus was not sharp at all. I was upset. I was able to piece these images together from the shots being taken every 5 minutes (which failed after totality and I attempted to restart it at least 6 times before I gave up and therefore missed out on the outgoing penumbral phase. When the weather gets better I will try shooting the Moon to see what went wrong.
Do not attempt to look at these images in higher res because they are very poor, and they somehow get worse as the eclipse progresses, possibly due to increasing haze.
Each row of this graphic depicts 1 hour with each image 5 minutes apart.
