Injured Pronghorn

Antilocapra americana

We came across this pronghorn buck lying alone that appeared to be injured.
Looking at the photo it is hard to tell whether he escaped an attack by a predator or if he has severe skin disease.

Yellowstone
Wyoming

It looks like a skin condition, Ann. Hope he gets better.

Oh poor thing. Life is tough for animals in the wild. Hoping it was a skin condition that might clear up and not be detrimental to survival, rather than a more serious issue. V
