Just around the corner from my house there is an old school building, which is culturally and historically significant – and still in use.
The building was designed by famous Wivi Lönn - and it was finished 1917, the year we got our Independence in Finland.
Wivi Lönn may justly be considered the first woman in Finland to have worked independently in the field of architecture.
