The Uğurlu-Zeytinlik settlement in Gökçeada is the earliest settlement identified on the islands of the eastern Aegean. Excavations brought to light objects from 5970-5840. Some illustrate an exchange network between the Balkans and Central Anatolia. In a special structure 13 human skeletons were found, it had a large bull’s horn at the entrance and red plaster floors.
