Monticello is a little place that time has left behind. This locally owned motel was probably a part of a larger chain in times past. The insides of the rooms have not changed much, but they have been kept in decent shape by the owners. The rooms were a bargain. The local BBQ restaurant that was walking distance away was not much to look at, but it served the best food we had during the entire trip.
