1942-47 Ford Truck

Pueblo, CO

Now that I finally have serious long lens capabilities, one of my big goals for 2019 is to take many more pictures of things I have seen off the side of the road that are hard to reach on foot or even by car. This truck had been on my list for years before I finally got this shot of it last year on the way down to Arizona to meet up with David and Marcia. So many incredible scenes off the side of the road that just require being there at the right time and then using the big lens.

As WWII halted production of new vehicles they would remain unchanged from 1942-47 this Ford is a prime example (and well captured I must add) of the 1942 body that would last until 1948 when a change would come.... braVo Mike

scrumptious...comp, colours, and array of subjects are all delectable...the big lens may well prove useful next month, particularly at Ship Rock..
