New York has a new celebrity with a huge fan-base.
This rare Mandarin Duck which seemed to come from nowhere now graces
the pond in Central Park. He is considered the most eligible bachelor in New York!
Isn't he pretty??

I heard about this 'sensation' in our newspaper. They are indeed show-offs, although the females tend dress down and shun the spotlight. We have quite a few in England, but even so you usually have to visit specific places for them.
