It is Christmas eve and I am preparing to cook our Christmas feast tomorrow. I have never done prime rib before, so I have been scouring the internet for recipes and ideas. Everybody tells you their way is the only way to cook it. I have found that getting the essentials that are common to most methods and improvising the rest works well for me. We got a 7.5 pound bone in roast, USDA Prime. That will provide plenty for the two of us. After church tomorrow (9 am mass) I will get cracking with preparations. This should be lots of fun.
