Circa 1961 Porsche Carrera Abarth

The car is based upon the 356 model with the complex
twin cam 1600 cc engine. Porsche looked into several
Designers in Italy for the new body and settled on Abarth.
This car was smaller and more slippery than the body designed
by Reutters.

It's interesting how the basic lines have not changed all that much. In the early '60s one of my high school friends' parents owned two Porsche 912s, which was pretty unusual for our parents' generation. Great capture here, Paul.
