Picture taken from within the gardens which now surround the remains of the ruined castle. Beyond the tower of the castle is the Church of St. Mary Magdalene.
Because of the damage caused during the Civil War, the castle tower now leans at an angle of 15 degrees, 4 times the lean of the leaning tower of Pisa.[Wikipedia] .
