I've never seen any shrike in my neighborhood. Imagine my surprise when this guy landed on my arbor. I recognized it right away since I've photographed adult Northern Shrikes. It seemed to be watching activity around the feeder and dropped into a shrub. Much better place for a picture. What a find!
