Virginia Opossum

Boyce, Virginia

This one crossed my path as I was birding at Blandy Experimental Farm. Got off a few shots without disturbing the old timer. Only marsupial north of Mexico; has 50 teeth - most of any mammal in the United States. Best viewed in 'original' size.
