For such a small island, Heligoland has a quite sizeable fire department- it would simply take too long to call in reinforcements. Due to the high cliffs they even have a rope rescue team available. Nontheless, their trucks mirror the small size- streets are narrow and the highest building has just three stories. This ladder truck is about half the size of a standard one and is one of the few Diesel-powered cars on the island.
