I do a lot of surf photography, but none more gratifying than shooting at the A Walk On Water (AWOW) surfing event at Seaside, Cardiff State Beach, CA. AWOW is an organization that provides surf therapy to disabled and special needs children. There was an amazing amount of energy, emotion and compassion at the event, and this seasoned photographer couldn't help getting choked up looking through the viewfinder at all those joyful faces in the surf.
