balding

Kerrisdale

at the tail end of Autumn local trees are balding, dropping leaves everywhere, daily temps getting colder, and the air often very wet...luckily have good supplies of whiskey...OK...OK...tea, in the house

Great capture of the few remaining leaves, sounds like you're well prepared for winter hibernation.

Nice array of colors. Good to hear that you're prepared. I'd love some of the rain you have and little Whisky too.

It does look cold and dreary. But still some color to be had. Meanwhile winter takes over. V

Tea and Whisky are both Heaven's presents and good companions for fall and winter if you do not mix the two :) Darjeeling in the morning, a pure malt in the evening ... and drinking what you want in the meantime !
A nice fall scene.V.

Yes, one needs the means to keep warm when autumn's end signals winter is coming! Wonderfully warming shot however! V

From my experience with you it's whisky not mundane tea. Is this pretty place your neighborhood?

So sad to see only the remnants, but the sidewalks and yards look great with all that color.
Jim Coffman14-Nov-2018 23:14
Yes, the leaves are going fast. We are expecting a snow storm tonight!

Last glimpse of colour here David, the trees might need a shot of whisky soon.
David.
Carol E Sandgren14-Nov-2018 21:23
No, I 'm sure you mean whisky!
I like how the color of the house matches the remaining leaves on the trees!
Johnny JAG14-Nov-2018 21:15
Yeah, I'm losing my leaves too!
