Heartbreak

Anyone who has had a pet go missing knows that sinking feeling,
so many scenarios, so many outcomes.
Sometimes it’s good, sometimes not so much.
It’s a blessing when it doesn’t end in heartbreak
and the reunion is always a sweet relief.

Animals with their Owners
Not quite animals with their owners,
but the heart was willing.

It's actually a very well executed photo, as well as a clever interpretation of the instruction.

I think this is an excellent entry for Animals & Their Owners. Heart-wrenching to see signs like these. We have a lot of coyotes here, so usually the smaller animals disappear without a trace. V

Good shot and caption. Cats and small dogs have little chance of survival in our area because of Coyotes, so sadly the reunions are rare.

So difficult for the the owners. Hope they find the cat .

Definitely heartbreaking and so sad, though sometimes there are happy outcomes. I hope that is so here. V

When a pet goes through death or loss it is devastating to children and grownups like me.

I never had a missing animal for long, but I know it would be heartbreaking!

clearly someone cares about this disappearance...still, such a development so often does not end well..
