One of three NMRA 2018 National Train Show cars from a custom decorated set produced by Accurail and sold by the NMRA 2018 NTS Committee.

I replaced the kit's trough hatch with Tangent's fiberglass hatch part and the outlet gates with Tangent's Miner gates, added Tangent wheelsets and a reinforcing angle across the top of the side stakes. When I was sanding the new angle (0.010" styrene sheet scored and folded) after installation, I scuffed the side stakes so I touched them up with Model Master Neutral Gray. This color is extremely close to the color Accurail used, but it is slightly darker so where I got sloppy on the side stakes shows up unfortunately. I also used this color to paint the new parts.
