The aircraft on display, number 59-1822 is one of the most famous Thunderchiefs of the Vietnam war.
It was assigned to 355th Tactical Fighter Wing, based at Takhli, Thailand and was flown by a pilot of Polish origin, Major Donald Kutyna,
who gave it individual name The Polish Glider.
It is a permanent deposit, donated by the USAF Museum.
