A Murder…

…of crows have been working and playing at picking then
dropping the English walnuts around the neighborhood.
Sue likes it because they knock a lot more out of the trees
than they fly away with so she gets to pick up more for herself.
We like them because it’s fun to watch and listen to their antics!
They can be loud but they can also be so quiet that it is very creepy
Imagine walking by some trees and there are a hundred eyes on you!
No wonder they call it a murder…they are aways watching, thinking, waiting.

Great catch of them. Like the light on their wings. They are clever birds... and yes, noisy too. Love English walnuts. We don't have them here in the south. V

Really nice photo, the back lighting is great. I have found it difficult to take a "candid" of crows, whenever I take my camera out they stop the activity that I was interested in and watch me warily.

A fine shot that describes a Murder of Crows. We used to watch the Seagulls rise high with a cam and drop it on the road in front of our house
