It's Pecan Season in Texas!
The Texas pecan crop looks heavy, amid good growing conditions and few disease and pest problems.
In the last decade, Texas has produced 60 million pounds twice, in 2009 and 2014 and 70 million in 2010.
With commercial producers in all of the major production areas reporting good growing conditions and fewer disease
and pest issues, the crop could be close to 70 million pounds this year.

Nice to see them grow and good to hear there will be bumper crop. For me pecans will always be associated with Stuckey's.
