Santa Ana Winds
These winds are strong and extremely dry. They originate inland and affect coastal Southern California and northern Baja California.
They are famous for fanning wildfires and usually occur in the autumn months.
The humidity today dropped from 87% to currently 14%, as the wind turned from West on-shore, cool and moist, to Northeast and very dry. Let us hope no fires break out.
