'Resist' was on the back side of her sign

I didn’t know what this woman was dressed up as, but Tim said it had something to do with a TV show.

*****

We went to a protest on Saturday at the US Capitol, just to see what was going on. A large group of people protesting the nomination and subsequent confirmation of Brett Kavanagh to the US Supreme Court had stormed the steps of the Capitol and stayed there until they were led away by the police one by one and arrested. We were in a large, very emotional crowd in front of them, taking pictures.

Regardless of whether one favors his confirmation or not, I believe this was a case of democracy in action.

That look, posted earlier:

It’s from the Handmaid’s Tale. It’s a Margaret Atwood book that is now on Hulu. It’s a timely series considering everything that is happening in the country. Well worth the cost of Hulu. Great capture! V

Another super Sony shot! I love going to these demonstrations and capturing history like this. (Wish we didn't need to have them, however.)

may explain the outfit. Interesting read.

The TV series that Tim mentioned is

I've heard about the series, but I've never seen it.

Many women fear is that this horrible TV fantasy could now have a possibility of becoming actual fact - in some form - in America.
