Day Twenty Three
We spent the day just hanging out with the family. There was a early breakfast at the Country Butcher in town. They had very good burritos. Then it was off to the Unionville Community Fair. The weather was overcast, but there was plenty to keep the grandkids busy. We had some hot dogs for lunch then spent more time looking around. In the afternoon, after naps, the kids went to the library then we met up at Talulah's Table for some snacks and book reading. Back at the house Richard and I prepared some excellent meatloaf. His recipe involves a lot of vegetables and it is very good. After a little more reading the grandkids hit the sack. Richard and I sampled some Belle Meade bourbon I brought him and decided that it was good.
What kid doesn't like slides? The boys got started on this inflatable slide and had lots of fun. This photo is of Andrew in mid-slide. I was shooting with my G-15 which is difficult when doing action shots. The trick is to establish the focus then press the shutter at the right time.
