Today was a pretty good day, I didn’t over do it. I met some interesting peopleand took a few photos.
Oh, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! I need to upload todays photos to my laptop. The laptop that did not crash, but just needed some updates. I only use the laptop on road trips so it doesn’t get updated like it should. Thank you Microsoft of Palo Alto.

Ok, I got the card being uploaded to the laptop.. I am writting this right onto the laptop with my other new toy a Bluetooth key board.. sort of cool, at least in my mind. WTF, if it seems that I am rambling on maybe it is because I have had a couple of beers..
There are several very interesting cars at this event such as a 1954 Lancia D24, the Stirling Moss/ Dan Gurney Birdcage Tipo 61 Maserati that won the 1960 Nürburgring 1000 K race and about fifteen 3 liter Formula One cars running in the Masters F 1 series. This is the last of four races in the U.S. I covered the first race in July at Portland.

Porsches last weekend and F-1 this weekend at Sonoma.. I am living my dream job, now if I only got paid it would be perfect.

Tomorrow I will spend most of the day on the track taking pictures of race cars. Then CSRG will wine and dine me. Ok they wine and dine everyone. Free food and booze, I can’t turn that down.
I’ll tell you a secret. If a vintage driver wants to be mentioned in an article that I am doing for Victory Lane, Guys I can be bribed, and I am cheap.. A few beers, wine or a shot of Tequila, food works too. Even better offer to buy photos from me. Money talks and Bull shit walks
I just glanced at the laptop and my 1,700+ photos have uploaded. Now I have to transfer them to the backup external harddrive.
I think it is about time that I end this ramble and maybe have just one more beer before bed time.
