Picacho Peak from the Drone

Pinal County, Arizona view map

*** Best view at original size ***

This is a merge of several exposures from the drone (and not my usual frame grab from the video).
Picacho Peak is a volcanic plug north of Tucson. It is a comforting landmark that signals being close
to home when coming back from long journeys.

A short video from some of the flights over this volcanic plug. Best view in HD.

Hasselblad L1D-20C ,DJI Mavic 2 Pro

Another fantastic video Sam, it's amazing that the trees and cactus grow right to the top of the peak! BV

Great landmark that would be hard to miss at this height.

Very nice image. Don't remember this when I lived in Tucson. I must not have been paying attention to the hills! V

a wonderful view of Picacho peak. If I had seen this before I hiked it years ago I would not have done it.
