Sternwheeler Natchez departing New Orleans for a day cruise on the Mississippi River. Natchez is in great condition probably looking better than ever. My favorite thing about it is that it remains steam powered. Steam engines are quiet, I could hear the splashing and cascading water on the paddle wheel as it pulled away from the dock. I am looking forward to taking this cruise next time I'm in New Orleans.
