We must never forget

New Orleans, Louisiana

A New York city fireman reads a letter from the brother a firefighter lost September 11, 2001. The letter was a very touching tribute to one of the fallen.

Note: This letter was read at the opening ceremony of the commemorative climb held in New Orleans on September 15, 2018 by first responders from all around the state of Louisiana.

Well done, Phil. Your depth of field here is outstanding. The foreground fireman, the center of attention, is tack sharp and very crisp. His fellow firemen in the crowd are in very soft focus, as they should be, but there is enough detail that the viewer can see the bowed heads, the helmets held in hand and the sadness in their body language. A very moving photo, my friend. BV
