Rather frightening! We have come through several tunnels, some quite long, and down this zig-zag road, to reach the Rhone Valley. Steg is the town at the end of this road and then all towns south and west could be reached. If we wanted to go north we had to put our car onto the car-train at Goppenstein and travel through the Lötschberg Tunnel for about 30 minutes. Then we arrived at Kandersteg with access to the north.
