Graves at Shah-i-Zinda, Samarkand

Shah-i-Zinda is a necropolis in the northeastern part of Samarkand whose more than 20 mausoleums and other ritual buildings date from the 9th to 19th centuries.

I’m pretty sure Tim said some women were buried here, although some of the grand mausoleums were for female members of the royal family, too.
