15. Action - Movement

Sugar Land, Texas

One from last year. This was 5 days after Hurricane Harvey. We had 50 inches of rain and flooded for 2 weeks before water drained away.
I really feel bad for the people in NC. It's easy to underestimate the impact.
Some people in Houston (20 miles away) are still rebuilding their homes a year later.

Great timing and despite the flooding, I think the driver was having a blast causing a splash. Great photo!!! V

One feels for the people who are affected by the huge eye of the storm... and
the aftermath, trying to get help and an insurance pay-out & trying to rebuild. v

Great capture of the spray! V
People in NJ are still rebuilding after hurricane Sandy from 2012! Insurance companies have been slow in paying off the damage...

Fire and flood...two forces of nature we can be sure about and neither bring good results....this photo however is worthy of applause. V

That is quite the shot, Lynn. I expect many people will be experiencing similar and worse with the current hurricane. Difficult times.
