The northeast section of the property. This area is a lovely spot to feed chickadees & nuthatches. In 2006 it was denuded by the beavers. Over the years we watched regrowth and then denudation depending on the beaver population. We are noticing that the number of lodges has decreased, likely because so many trees have been caged (approx 400 - 500). This is also the area where the Trumpeter swans were first located. The stream is more visible in the autumn.
