Today was our return trip from Alpharetta to Houston. Originally, the plan was to stop overnight in Covington, LA for dinner with our son, but he had other commitments. We decided to just press on and take it all the way to the house. That is a very long drive, 815 miles. We try to avoid long driving days, but the incentive was to get an extra day at home before we headed out on a long road trip on Friday. So today's photo is the tale of the odometer. It was just a weekend trip, so only 1755 miles were logged. Of that 1630 miles are highway driving back and forth.
