Inspecting the Dishwasher

After a super long life, our old GE built-in dishwasher finally died. We replaced it with a new silent Bosch. This was shot just after the new dishwasher had been unpacked.

Chile was immediately curious about the odd giant, "box" suddenly sitting in the middle of our kitchen floor.

By the end of the day, the new dishwasher was in place in the cabinet. However, since I want to keep the cherry wood paneling look of the old dishwasher's front, the new dishwasher currently still has no finished front panel & looks really looks ugly. Its cherry front panel is being custom made to match the rest of the cherry cabinets. That takes time.
