Banana Tree Leaves

As the leaves on banana trees age they develop these gorgeous patterns and colors. It's always fun and challenging to try to use them to try to come up with natural abstract compositions. Taken while on a walk through the San Diego Botanic Garden.

I do like the abstract in the close area of the leaf. And nice golden light. Our banana trees are still green. I'll take your advice and look at them closely later in autumn. V
