26-AUG-2018

Rochester, NY

This cat was sleeping on a park bench and I believe lives in a house next door to the park. He was very friendly and was following humans around. He appeared blind in one eye. He resembled a cat I saw years ago in the same spot, except much older now. The park was definitely his territory. The shallow DOF was not intentional. I was photographing a wedding and didn't change the aperture from a portrait I just had taken.

An interesting shot of this sleeping beauty! I like the shallow DOF but my preference would be to focus on the head. V

It is amazing how well cats can survive on their own. A very sweet catch of this guy. V

Wonderful portrait of this sleeping cat. I do like the shallow depth of field. "V"

Poor baby... he's been guarding that park for a while! Big job. One needs to get some rest. :) V

What an adorable portrait, and I think the DOF turned out fine. V.

Well the shot came out neat, without the adjustment. I can almost hear the soft purr.

endearing....there is still enough DOF to make the image engaging...the drowsy feline does look sympathetic..
