drifting

Mesa Verde NP, Colorado

a day and a half of heavy drizzle (most welcome too), and the mind is already drifting to thoughts of a winter vacation when the rainy season seriously sets in...once again the Southwest is appealing...will have to check with the road trip friends and learn just what possibilities can be agreed upon and arranged...there are many sites to visit, landscapes to be enjoyed, and micro breweries to be supported

this is Cliff Palace, the largest cliff dwelling in the park, and in fact the largest one in North America...people began living here, and building homes, 1400 years ago
