a so called 'marine push' is gradually bringing back the winds that normally keep local air relatively clean...the pall of smoke that has shrouded the coast is slowly being pushed east by the inflow...interestingly, smoky skies have quickly been replaced by cloudy skies, and there is a threat of rain, or at least showers, in the next few days...still this will be an improvement after the recent challenging times
